great central stop for exploring zihuatanjeo's sights and beaches
My experience at this hotel was delightful thanks to its proximity to the beach and local eateries, with just a short stroll to the charming Archaeological Museum of the Costa Grande that showcases the region's vibrant history. and the warm atmosphere created by the owners made me feel at home throughout my stay.

The indoor pool was frustrating due to the lack of railings, making it difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The only outdoor pool area felt exposed, lacking chairs and tables. The room had minimal kitchen utensils, and the beds weren't particularly comfortable. Storage space was lacking, with only one old shelf unit for clothes and no hooks or hangers for convenience.

My stay at Las Salinas was quite enjoyable due to its perfect location just behind the main road, making it easy to access the local Collectivos while staying peacefully away from the noise. The owner, Christian, upgraded us to a spacious family room that included a well-equipped kitchen. Having kitchen facilities was a game changer for our 9 nights, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The property was cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided without having to ask. I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere created by Christian and his family. However, the pool area left something to be desired since it felt too exposed with limited seating options. it lacked chairs and tables for relaxing comfortably. Also, minor issues like the hot water taking a bit too long to warm up could be improved. We enjoyed easy walks to nearby attractions, yet having a slightly more private pool area would definitely enhance the experience.

Great air conditioning for hot weather.
I found the indoor pool situation quite frustrating. There were no railings to assist with getting in and out, which made it really difficult for seniors or anyone with mobility issues. Also, the hot water took ages to warm up, and sometimes it just wasn't warm enough to be enjoyable, which was disappointing.

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The room was always clean, which made my stay comfortable throughout the 5 nights. The air conditioner worked silently, ensuring restful nights despite the warm climate. The owner was consistently available at the front desk, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel safe as a solo traveler. Additionally, I appreciated the well-maintained property, as it contributed to an overall pleasant experience.
However, there were minor issues with the hot water taking time to warm up, which could be improved.

I really enjoyed my time here, especially with the spacious family room equipped with a kitchen, which was perfect for our needs. The pool area was nice for lounging on hot days, and the outdoor seating options made it even better. The only downside was the lack of storage space for our suitcases, but it didn’t ruin our stay. Definitely check out the local market during your visit! 🌞

Just an appropriate option for a quick stopover in Zihuatanejo with good price-value balance. The air conditioning worked well, which was a plus. Bring your own kitchen utensils if you plan to cook.
